1.How many are you happy with? All but ‘My destiny… our destiny’. Although this title refers to the most forceful phrase said by Shi Wudu in the novel, it does not convince me and I will not change it now that it is already in the last third.
2. How many are ... not great? Three. Including the previous one.
3. How many did you scramble for at the last minute? Those three.
4. How many did you know before you started writing/creating, or near the beginning? Almost all of them.
5. How many are quotes from songs or poems? Directly? One: ‘You're gonna remember my name’, from Fame, by Irene Cara.
6. How many are other quotes? ‘I’ll kiss the sin in thy lips, o dear brother of mine’ is a reference to Romeo and Juliet.
‘Noli me tangere’, from the Bible.
7. Which best reflects the plot of the story/content of the fanwork? ‘In this life…meow’, since the villain is reincarnated in a cat and…
‘One light… for my only love’ refers to the Chinese tradition of lighting lanterns to honor the gods and it's about that particular Festival that turns history.
8. Which best reflects the theme of the story? ‘Misadventures of a monster’ – all Nie MingJue’s misadventures when his mission is to be the monster of a too small and damaged kid, and how he ends up falling in love with his designee through the years.
‘The Prince and the Dragon’-It’s a Beauty and the Beast retelling.
9. Which best reflects the character voice of the story/POV of the fanwork? 'In this life…meow' –It took my heart and more to write from the point of view of a cat - luckily I have five advisers.
10. Which is your favourite title? ‘Quill and Steel. Chronicles of a Rebellion’. It sounds ... pretentious. And I like it. I like titles that taste a little ... epic? Also, I always knew it ended with steel wings.
